Best of the Best 2015

Library and education professionals are invited to join Chicago Public Library and Chicago Public Schools Department of Literacy for a day-long exploration of the very finest books for kids and teens published in 2014.

This registration is for Chicago Public Schools staff, library and education professionals and guests of Chicago Public Library only. CPL staff interested in attending should sign-up through Staff and Organization Development. If you have any questions, please contact (312) 747-4780.

Schedule for the Day (all events will take place on the Lower Level of Harold Washington Library Center):

9 am - 12 pm Picture Books
Fiction and Informational Books for Young Readers (up to 3rd grade)
12 pm - 1 pm Lunch (on your own)
1 pm - 5 pm Fiction and Informational Books for Older Readers (4th - 8th grade)
Teen: Fiction, Graphic Novels and Informational Books
Adult Books for Teens
